Hi There!

I'm Cyndi

I first picked up a camera over twenty years ago, while working as a fly fishing guide in British Columbia.  I was going to be the next great National Geographic Photographer...... or so I thought.

Meeting my husband and soulmate turned me down a different path, and after the births of our daughter (Charlie) and our son (Myles), I changed my photography lens (literally and physically) to focus on newborns, families and portraiture.  I perfected my skills at the New York Institute of Photography, and after graduating, developed my unique style with its connection to the outdoors, and cultivated my client base.

I’ve found that working with families is a perfect fit for my high-energy, enthusiastic personality.  An elementary school Physical Education Teacher by day, I have an innate ability to be playful and relatable, and I understand the importance of connections.

Nature has always inspired and grounded me, and I let it guide my vision for wedding and portrait photography.  I’m always on the lookout for landscapes to inspire my photography sessions and create organic and memorable moments.
